The
club meeting Friday, November 17th was at Steve's Victorian home in Ogden. He has done a marvelous job of restoring the home,
which was originally built in 1895. A
couple of pictures are included below. At the
meeting we discussed the Christmas Party, which will be at the Two Bit Café again on
December 2nd at 6PM. For $13 per
person (in advance) they will serve us a really nice Turkey Dinner, including desert. Money was collected at the meeting. If you want to attend, but havent paid, you
need to send a check to Jim L ASAP. Also, those planning on attending need to bring a
white elephant gift worth between $10 and $20. The
club decided not to participate in the Great Train Exp train show in February due to the
restrictions they were placing on the participants. Attendance
was a little sparse, but everyone had a good time. He
has a beautiful home and a great train room. Al
showed us a couple of new toys. He just
received a new Lionel Docksider (Christmas version) and a caboose to match. Thanks to all who attended and special thanks to
Steve for hosting the event. |
